Volunteer Work

Global Mamas - Work with Ghanaian women to create batik fabric designs for sale in Ghana, the United States and Europe.

Rehabilitation through the Arts - Team teach the course "Art: Practice and Theory" at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining, NY.

Project Blessing - Assisted in developing and implementing a program to bring a group of Stanwich School Alumni to Rwanda as part of the school's "Project Blessing."

Teaching Experience

1998 - The Stanwich School, Greenwich CT, Director of Visual Arts. Responsible for designing and implementing the art curriculum at this private, Pre-K - Grade 9 school. Received the first Board of Trustees Humanitarian Grant for travel and volunteer work.

Certification

Permanent State of New York  certification in Art K-12, Elementary N-6, and Special Education K-12. Participated in a pilot study for the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards.
